Allen Neighborhood Center – Lansing, MI (May – August 2009)

Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region (August 2008 – September 2009)

  • -Invest time in 9-year-old “Little” on a weekly basis

Support CADL (April – August 2010)

  • -Successfully manage graphic design, web administration and social media for  local library’s millage renewal campaign, resulting in 71.45% millage approval

Capital City Film Festival (August 2010 – April 2011)

  • -Help found Lansing, MI’s first film festival from scratch in conjunction with 3 others

Achieve a strong, visible social media presence and develop concepts with viral potential. Continuously monitor online
public relations and ensure the success of CADL programs.
 Facilitate efforts of all interested social media contributors through education content management.
 Create and administer CADL website content, creating multiple online resources to assist patrons’ access to
information.
 Administer public relations and act as media liaison for all 13 CADL branches.
 Develop and manage online marketing campaigns for CADL and Libraries Now! (a CADL advocacy committee),
effectively driving brand awareness, engagement and traffic to social media pages.
 Produce and edit CADL video and digital media content.
o Secure grant funding for professional video and digital media production equipment so the library may
create local, educational TV programming.
